I am the Facilitator of Learning and Innovation (FLI) at Rooster Springs Elementary School in Dripping Springs, Texas. For the past four years, I have been a second grade teacher, and I have loved every moment of being in the classroom. This is a brand new position in Dripping Springs ISD and I am very excited to take on this challenge. As a FLI it is my mission to empower students and teachers in discovering their passions through experiences that involve collaboration, creativity, and innovation. Many of these passion building experiences will come from accessing all that technology has to offer, and seamlessly integrating it into the daily curriculum. However, it is also a vision and dream of mine to develop a program that introduces students to a diverse set of experiences I have been blessed with a fabulous team, which is made up of the four other campus FLIs, The Director of Technology, and The Coordinator of Learning and Innovation. Together, I know that we can truly make this dream a reality. This new role is going to be quite the journey, but I am very excited. Come FLI with me!
