Storytelling for the YouTube Generation

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Digital Storytelling continues to be one of the hottest topics amongst educators, but who has time to spend 2 weeks in the computer lab? We'll look at new models of digital storytelling that focus on shot-form stories, YouTube style. By studying what viral videos we love on sites like YouTube and breaking them down, we can replicate the common elements and make use of them in the classroom. We'll embrace the remix generation and share ways to tap into their native habits, to inspire new ways for them to express their learning!
